The Factors that Cause Poverty

Poverty is the state of one who lacks a certain amount of material possessions or money. Right now, we can easily find poor people everywhere we go and it becomes a complex phenomenon. It is caused by several reasons as following:

*       High growth population rates

High growth population rates can cause the overpopulation. It is the situation of having large number of people with too few resources and little space. With this situation some of those people who cannot get enough resources and space will become poor.

*       Lack of education

Illiteracy and lack of education also can cause the poverty. With the less of education it will be hard for someone to find  a worthy job to fulfill her/his own basic daily need or even think about how to improve her/his quality of life.

*       Less of job vacancy

During the high number of job seeker it certainly needs a large number of job vacancies that are available. But the fact the government can provides enough job vacancies so all the job seeker have to compete to get their job. As the result, the job seekers who lose become jobless and they can’t fulfill their daily needs and finally they become poor.

*       Corruption

Corruption is the main cause of poverty. Corruption makes the rich become richer and the poor become poorer. The funds which are belonging to the poor’s needs become the rich’s. This will make the poor more suffering.
